Tri-Rotor Pump model 80BV, which shares common components with model 100CV and model 120AV, is in the second to the largest family of Tri-Rotor Variable Volume Control Head pumps that provide variable flow rates.  This pump, with its unique design, allows the end user to adjust the flow rate of the pump from 0% to 100% through either the Manual Flow Control (MFC) or the more precise metering Vernier Flow Control (VFC) without changing motor speed.  The pump serves a wide range of industrial markets and applications.  Examples of the 80BV model’s diverse applications include pumping heat transfer oil, machine coolant, bitumen, lacquer, vacuum pump oil, sodium silicate, and propylene glycol.

The pump, available in both clockwise (CW) and counterclockwise (CCW) rotations, is designed with two threaded suction ports (side and top) and two threaded discharge ports (side and top) for the ultimate in installation flexibility.  Standard configuration is side suction and top discharge.  The other two ports are plugged with easily-moved pipe plugs.  One of these unique pumps could even be installed to deliver two different compatible fluids to two different locations.   Materials of construction for the 80BV model include Iron Fitted, All Iron, Bronze Fitted, or All Bronze configurations.  Two drain plugs, located on the shaft housing, are provided with every pump.
